Palladium was founded in 1920 in Lyon, France. Palladium made tyres for the fledgling aviation industry, layering bands of canvas underneath vulcanised rubber. They were so successful that they soon equipped the majority of Europe’s air fleets. In 1947, after the end of WWII saw the demand for aircraft tyres decrease, Palladium used their expertise to make boots that were as hard-wearing as their tyres. The boots were so comfortable and durable that they were adopted by the legendary French Foreign Legion for the rugged use. Today, Palladium has over 90 years of authenticity and heritage.
