Having spent more than 40 years working with top fashion designers such as Chanel, Givenchy, Yves Saint Laurent, Jean Paul Gauthier and Karl Lagerfeld, Mr. Louis Alexandre Raimon, better known as Alexandre de Paris - internationally renowned and favored hairdresser to Hollywood stars and royal celebrities including: Audrey Hepburn, Elizabeth Taylor, Grace Kelly, Jacky Kennedy and Duchess Winsor, decided to develop a line of hair accessories to create and perfect his famous French chignon in 1971.
