ba&sh was launched in 2003, the brand name a contraction of the first names of the founders, Barbara Boccara and Sharon Krief, with the support of Dan Arrouas and Vog Group. The womenswear label is driven by a resolutely positive state of mind, with the desire to support women and offer them joie de vivre, energy and confidence through their creations. A ‘smart fashion’ pioneer, ba&sh is at the forefront of innovation in its sector and in its commitment to social responsibility. The label is represented in over 70 countries, including in Europe, China and North America, with more than 320 stores contributing to its continued success. In 2015, L Catterton and Groupe Arnault acquired an entity interest. This resulted in a record level of international expansion supported by multi-directional and digital deployment managed by the executive team, founders Barbara Boccara, Sharon Krief and Dan Arrouas. In 2022, the label exceeds EUR 300 million in revenue. In May 2022, ba&sh attracted investment from French firm HLD alongside existing shareholders and the executive team, to pursue their ambitious growth plans. In June 2024, ba&sh is certified B Corp™ business with an impact assessment score of 98 points.
